Cultural Identity-Wrap Up (Amber)

Cultural identity is the

(feeling of) a group or a single

person who influenced by her/his belonging to a group or culture.

In other words everybody belongs to a group, which defines who s

he/he is as a person. Cultural Identity can be determined by their

differences, that are found in their origin, religion, language,

character, culture, and appearances. There are many people who are

bicultural, that means he/she can be identified by two different

cultures.

  2. I agreed with you that when someone has grown up in the biculture upbringing, he/she could be identified by two differet cultures. Then, I also begin thinking about what is her/his culture identity as a new immigrant? Tens of several years late, how about it? The cultual identity is able to be made different , isn't it?
